Reflection on Google Slides - Producing Persuasive Presentations

This week, I had quite a lot of fun learning about and experimenting with Google Slides.  I've never used either Google Slides or Powerpoint before, so it was a new experience for me.  I have previously used Prezi, as I've had the impression that Slides or Powerpoint presentations tend to be dull and less interactive than what can be done with Prezi.  However, I discovered that my impression was simply based on not being exposed to more creative Slides presentations.

I had a good time creating a presentation about Oxford, and found quite a few places I'd like to visit on our next trip there.  I would have liked to have more time to experiment further with what I learned in class about different things that can be done with Slides, especially linking between slides to make an interactive presentation and trying out some templates through Slidesgo.  I will be playing with those features in the future, along with trying out using add ons like Peardeck.

I do plan to continue using Slides for school projects as needed, and I will also use the app as I continue to grow my business.  I can see the features being handy during online presentations, especially as I consider expanding my offerings to groups.  All in all, my opinion of this app has been greatly improved through what we learned this week, and I'm glad to have another tool at my disposal.
